Beautiful! I don't think I would have been satisfied with a happy ending--I personally found Shepard's sacrifice cathartic--but it's still fun to imagine what it would have been like.

Yeah, I can definitely get that. I remember the first time I finished ME3 I scoured the Internet to try to find what option I missed to make Shepard live after the Destroy ending...only to find that that puff of air at the end was supposed to be it.

I'd seen all the post ME3 artwork and just assumed that Shepard and Kaidan would ride off into a Reaper-free sunset together. It took me a while (and a lot of crying

) before I decided I found the ending artistically satisfying if not emotionally so. I still like to imagine what a happy ending could have been like.
